Jackson Fire & Security employees swapped their fire extinguishers and CCTV cameras for litter pickers and bin bags as part of a town’s annual spring clean initiative. The team volunteered for the Mold spring clean scheme, which is supported by the Town Council and Mold Business Forum. The campaign aims to maintain the area’s pleasant environment and boost community pride. Joined by Mike Joy and Eleanor Richards from our sister company Delyn Safety, we set to work on the Bromfield Industrial Estate to fill six bags of litter. Official mascot for the spring clean, Springy, also visited us to see how the site was looking, and gave a big thumbs-up to the job we’d carried out. Not only did the clean up help keep our head office grounds in top condition, it also benefited our current step challenge for a Public Health Wales silver award. Our involvement in the spring clean follows on from recent community work performing installations at the Share shop in Chester and supporting our charity of the year Hospice of the Good Shepherd. Jackson Fire & Security director Tim Fletcher said: “The spring clean is a brilliant way to keep our head office and the surrounding area at its best. “As members of Mold Business Forum, we’re more than happy to be supporting the scheme and contributing to the community. “With all the positive work going on inside our headquarters, it makes sense for the outside to reflect that as well.” Jackson Fire & Security is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of fire and security systems.
