fire and security servicing liverpool
A fire and security specialist has opened a branch in Liverpool with an ambition to grow and hire more staff from the city. On board with the new Jackson Fire & Security expansion, is well-known Liverpool businessman Geoff Billington who last year sold the Bootle-based marine safety company ISP which he co-owned. Geoff's son Mike brought in his father after becoming branch director and returning to his roots after many years on the road as a national sales manager. Jackson Fire & Security has built up a strong reputation for installation and maintenance of fire and intruder alarms, extinguishers, CCTV and emergency lighting. A key member of its Liverpool team will be engineer Mark Dillon, who has worked in the industry for 11 years with ADT. Mike Billington said:
"Jackson Fire & Security has become a well-known brand and we are delighted to be opening its branch in Liverpool. "My father had retired but will be branch company secretary and will bring a wealth of experience and contacts to the business. "I have a strong pedigree in maritime safety as well as sales and, with Mark, we have high-class engineering expertise. "Liverpool is such a developing city that I believe there is going to be a rising demand for our services. "Within 12 to 18 months, I want us to have been so successful that we have new premises with more jobs, in the office and on the road, for local people."
Mike believes it is Jackson Fire & Security's flexible approach which will help attract customers to the new branch.
He said: "The key thing is that we offer a local service. I am going to have dedicated Liverpool engineers who can respond to calls quickly and offer the personal touch. "We will also be launching our Switch campaign in which businesses can save money by coming to us for all their fire and security services."
Steve Jackson, managing director of Jackson Fire & Security, said:
"Opening a Liverpool branch is an important step in the development in our company and I am delighted that its operation is in the hands of such an experienced team. "We are already a recognised brand in the city but this will give us a firmer foothold. Liverpool is taking off and I want us to be part of its exciting times."
Jackson Fire & Security employs 35 people across branches in Warrington, Wirral, Mold, Cambridge and Glasgow. Formed in 1991, the company has built a reputation for quality, reliability and service and is a NSI and Siemens; gold-accredited partner for fire and systems.
