Over the course of 4 weeks, installers from Jackson Fire & Security began a project with Nightingale House Hospice to carry out CCTV installation for eight of their charity’s shops in Mold, Buckley, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Wrexham and surrounding villages.
The main motivation behind this was to provide safety and security for the staff of the shops, after mounting concerns over growing levels of retail crime.
Jackson Fire & Security used CCTV products from the UK manufacturer MaxxOne - who provided MaxxOne Elite 4MP Fixed Dome cameras and MaxxOne Elite 8 Channel PoE network video recorders to provide high-quality internal surveillance coverage with plentiful recording capacity.
With the MaxxOne Elite system, a benefit for the users was the convenience of viewing the CCTV cameras via the MaxxOne Elite app.
Despite the COVID restrictions, the CCTV installation was able to be completed safely and securely.
The project is now complete and the Nightingale House Hospice Charity Shops are secure thanks to the collaboration with Jackson Fire & Security and MaxxOne Elite.
Nightingale House Hospice charity shops are the lifeblood of the local community and the catalyst to successful fundraising.
The shops provide much-needed funds so that the hospice can continue to provide free specialist care to their patients who are living with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer.
During the pandemic the charity shops have been forced to close, but in the meantime you can continue to support the hospice through their eBay shop here.
