intruder alarm
When local businessman Graham Price contacted Jackson Fire & Security expressing an interest in getting the Mold-based fire protection company involved in his latest project, there was a real buzz around the office. Not only for a new local installation opportunity but that a real favourite country pub amongst staff would be getting an exciting new lease of life. The Boat Inn at Erbistock near Wrexham sits on the river Dee amid stunning Welsh countryside and is a listed building in a conservation area. Part of the requirement for this new refurbishment would be to update the fire and security systems once the new restaurant layout had been finalised. Jackson Fire & Security were tasked with providing a new fire alarm system and intruder alarm system that would be in keeping with the new theme and décor, whilst most importantly providing the utmost protection for this new renovation going forward from both fire and security risks. Project Manager Ben Tilston explains: “We opted to install a Siemens FC360 monitored fire alarm system. It’s an ideal affordable solution for small to medium sized businesses, and we have been Siemens partners now for five years so we have complete trust in the quality of their equipment.” We also installed a Honeywell Galaxy intruder alarm which is a market leading security solution for commercial premises. Their systems are high quality but cost-effective with brilliant customer features such as remote monitoring to an Alarm Receiving Centre, the ability for self-monitoring and end user control via a smartphone app.” Jackson Fire & Security now provide The Boat with the reassurance of a continuing maintenance package visiting every six months to service their fire alarm and intruder alarm, in addition to carrying out the fire extinguisher annual checks. Graham Price, Co-Owner of The Boat at Erbistock, said: ““I am really pleased with the fire and security installations completed by Jackson Fire & Security. They did a quality job at a fair price with good support from their knowledgeable and friendly team.” Formed in 1991, Jackson Fire & Security has built a reputation for quality, reliability and service, and is NSI gold-accredited for fire and security systems. They provide a one-call service whereby their engineers service fire safety and security systems, plus emergency lighting and fire extinguishers during a single visit, to save inconvenience and site attendance fees for customers. Jackson Fire & Security employs over 50 people across branches in North Wales, North West England, Yorkshire, Teesside, the Midlands, Cambridgeshire, London and Surrey.
