Friday 13th December 2024 will be a day of festive cheer and generosity as Jackson Fire & Security organise a Christmas Jumper Day to support Flintshire Foodbank.
Employees and visitors at Jackson Fire & Security are encouraged to don their most festive Christmas jumpers, from sparkly to silly, as part of a heartwarming initiative to raise funds for the Flintshire Foodbank. The event aims to spread festive joy while making a meaningful difference for local families in need.
In addition to the Christmas Jumper Day, the company is also organising a food collection drive. Everyone is invited to bring non-perishable food items to the Jackson Fire & Security offices to contribute to the foodbank’s mission of providing emergency food and support to those facing financial hardship.
“We’re thrilled to combine the fun of Christmas jumpers with a cause that truly matters,” said Rachel Evans, marketing manager at Jackson Fire & Security.
“Flintshire Foodbank do incredible work for our community, and we want to do our part to ensure local families have a little extra support during the festive season.”
Flintshire Foodbank relies on donations and community support to help individuals and families facing crisis. Items such as tinned vegetables, baked beans and tinned ready meals are urgently needed at present.
This event highlights Jackson Fire & Security’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community and encouraging staff involvement in charitable initiatives.
Whether through a cash donation, a food contribution, or simply joining the festive fun, everyone is welcome to get involved and make this a memorable day of giving.
Flintshire Foodbank provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
