access control installation
MoneyPennyWrexham-based telephone answering service Moneypenny became the first client to try out our new alarm system suite last week. Moneypenny’s senior network analyst Paul Catterall visited our Mold headquarters to try out the different alarm systems available through Jackson Fire & Security. Paul selected a Siemens Aliro IP access control system, which will be fitted at the company’s new ‘dreamland’ head office on the Western Gateway site in Wrexham. Moneypenny’s impressive new £15m headquarters will include a treehouse, a village pub and spectacular countryside views. The 91,000 sq ft building will also use rainwater recycling, solar energy, ground source heating and natural ventilation for climate control as the firm aims to be almost entirely self-sufficient. And we were thrilled for the company to be the first to use our recently completed alarm suite. It gives customers an opportunity to test the different systems we install, helping them select one that suits their specific requirements. Project Manager Rob Jones said: “We’ve always talked through our systems and shown clients how they work, but the new alarm suite and training room gives us and them an opportunity to actually try the systems out and pick the one that suits them best. “It’s a really useful resource to have – it makes such a difference being able to show clients the alarms, rather than just talking about them. “There are a number of ways that we can set up access control for our clients, ranging from a traditional panel to having access via a smart phone, and its important that we put a practical system in place. “Moneypenny’s new office is going to be stunning, and the new system is befitting of such an impressive building.”
