Jackson Fire & Security has openings for four school- or college-leavers who want to train to be fire and security alarm engineers.
Applications are invited from anyone who wants to learn technical skills and gain external qualifications in fire and security alarm design and installation, as well as fire extinguisher servicing.
We’re interested in hearing from GCSE and A level students about to get their results and who want to step straight onto a career ladder and earn while they learn.
Our programme is also open to anyone who is part-way through or has recently part-completed training to be an electrician and wants to progress in a niche area of the trade.
Jackson Fire & Security is growing quickly, which means that there are opportunities for career progression within the company for trainees who want it.
Founder and managing director Steve Jackson said:
“We’ve got four vacancies for trainees to start straight away. We’re looking for young people who want to work hard and succeed in their chosen career, with the job satisfaction and financial rewards that brings. “Some training is in-house with our experienced, qualified engineers. “We also send our trainees on a range of externally accredited courses, so you can gain industry recognised qualifications.”Life as a Jackson Fire & Security trainee engineer won’t be boring. You’ll visit customer premises as varied as factories, libraries, commercial offices and retail premises. You’ll be given a bespoke structured training programme and allocated a designated engineering mentor from among our team of experienced technicians. Your base will be our friendly head office in Mold, which boasts a new training centre fitted out with the most up to date fire and security alarm systems for you to train on.
