hospice

Working in partnership with local firms and volunteers it was the second year the hospice has offered the service when, for a small donation, people can have their trees collected for recycling on Saturday 16th January 2021.

In order to make this happen the hospice needed various drop off points across the region with skips in place. Jackson Fire & Security offered their head office car park to ensure their was a location in Mold to support their collection efforts.

Managing Director Steve Jackson said: “After a recent CCTV installation for the hospice, we are happy to support them in any way we can to help their fundraising efforts in these challenging times.

We have strong links with the hospice as our project engineer’s sister works in the fundraising team. We see first hand the efforts that go into raising money to continue the great work they do so we are proud to support them.”

Community and Events Fundraiser Sam Amis said: “The location of the skip at Jackson Fire & Security proved to be popular with our volunteers which made the collection run a lot faster.”

“The Christmas Tree Collection 2021 has enabled us to start this year in the best way possible. We managed to collect over 1000 Christmas trees to be recycled and raise over £10,000 for patient care at Nightingale House Hospice.”
