fire alarm

fire alarmJackson Fire & Security have been supporting Shooting Star Children’s Hospice with their fire alarm servicing and maintenance for two years.

Shooting Star House, the hospice’s outreach, therapy and family support centre in Hampton, had an issue with their fire alarm just before Christmas which required an emergency call out.

The week before Christmas the fire alarm panel failed and it wasn’t responding to a fire alarm test. Our Kingston branch engineers responded quickly installing a new fire alarm system to ensure the site was back up and running before Christmas.

In February of this year, Jackson Fire & Security also upgraded the fire alarm at the Guildford site, Christopher’s, where respite and specialist nursing is provided.

Jackson Fire & Security have now committed to maintaining the fire alarm system at Shooting Star House free of charge going forward to help with their maintenance costs during a difficult time for the charity sector.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices are a leading children’s hospice charity supporting over 700 children with life-limiting conditions, and their families, throughout Surrey and across 14 boroughs of London.

Their care service includes support from specialist nurses, family support workers, counsellors and therapists.
