fire and security engineers
A fast-growing fire and security firm has launched a drive to recruit new engineers. Big new contracts won with Merseytravel and Coleg Cambria have prompted expansion by Jackson Fire & Security. The Mold-headquartered firm is seeking engineers experienced in fire and security alarm servicing and installation. Founder and managing director Steve Jackson said that good rewards were on offer, as well as opportunities for career progression.
“We offer a competitive starting salary and a system of bonuses.  As different departments grow, we are creating new roles for supervisors and other senior staff to help run the company. “New positions are offered internally first, so there are good opportunities here for engineers who want promotion to take on bigger roles.”
From modest beginnings in the garden shed at its founder’s former home in Mynydd Isa in 1991, Jackson Fire & Security has grown to employ 35 engineers and staff. In the last five years it has started to expand across the UK and now has branches in Liverpool, Leeds, Warrington, Wirral, Walsall, Cambridge and Bolton. Recent investment at head office have included commissioning of a £30,000 bespoke training room to enable engineers to brush up on their fire and security alarm repair and maintenance skills. It boasts seven complete alarm systems including Siemens and Honeywell for new recruits to train on. Click here to see our full list of vacancies and find out how to apply.
