Savoy Catering of Greenfield Road, Holywell needed a fire alarm and emergency lighting after a routine inspection.

But the work needed to fit around the operating schedules of the company which prides itself on a clean environment and its quality service as well as its excellent food.

Project manager Chris Brooks, who has been with Jackson Fire & Security for nearly two years, was responsible for the design and estimates of the installation.

Chris said: "I went to the site to discuss Savoy's requirements and to survey their precise needs.

"The company offers a takeaway service so we had to work around its busiest times and we also had to take into consideration a chap who lives above Savoy's shop.

"We were also able to balance what Savoy needed with a reasonable price.

"The owner has now agreed a servicing arrangement every six months."

Savoy Catering's owner Brian Hamer said:

"I am pleased with the work. We did not have to ask the Jackson team the most convenient time to do the job because they asked us first. We said after 2pm when we close the shop and they were more than happy to do that."

"We do a lot of deliveries to the Kingspan factory in Holywell and I have seen Jackson's vans there. I thought 'what would be good for Kingspan would be good for us'.

"The fire officer could not endorse any company but when we said we were going to use Jackson's, he thought they would do a good job."

Jackson Fire & Security employs 35 people across branches in Warrington, Wirral, Mold, Cambridge, Liverpool and Leeds.

Formed in 1991, the company has built a reputation for quality, reliability and service and is a NSI and Siemens' gold accredited partner for fire and systems.
