fire alarm upgrade
Teesside-based Jackson Fire & Security have recently completed a fire and security system upgrades for Thornwood Developments Ltd across various care homes and offices in Hartlepool, Newcastle, Wallsend and Leeds. A package of fire and security works have been carried out at the sites including a fire alarm upgrade, fire risk assessments and access control modifications. One of the sites required modifications to a conventional C-TEC fire alarm system. Jackson Fire & Security ensure their engineers are trained on a range of different fire alarm equipment so they can face any on-site challenges. Jackson Fire & Security also added a new reader to a PAC access control system at one of the adult extra care facilities in the North East. This was delivered with a particularly quick turnaround due to the importance of having a working door entry system to the operation of the facility.
Jackson Fire & Security branch director Kris Milner said: “We are delighted to have made a solid start to our partnership with Thornwood Developments Ltd and we have been able to tackle some issues they were having at their sites.” “We pride ourselves on having multi-skilled engineers so we can react to any type of fire or security work in our industry quickly for our clients. I think this why we are able to build lasting relationships with property management companies like Thornwood Developments Ltd.“
Denis Murray, director of Thornwood Developments Ltd said:
“Due to the type of reactive maintenance work we carry out for a number of national care home companies, we need to build relationships with organisations that are able to guarantee swift responses. This is to ensure that members of this vulnerable group of people are kept safe in their environments.” “With this in mind we demand a high level of workmanship from our partners.  We have found a high level of response and quality from Jackson Fire and Security.”
